I had a party with my family for all the kids this weekend (blog post on that to come). My sister-in-law and I share the same birthday and George surprised us with a cake. Her maiden name is Schmoll so someone (I'm not sure who) named her Biggie Schmolls. Now everyone in our family calls her Biggie (even my kids)... thus the cake.
With 17 people in the house (yes 17!!!) it was hard to have our usual presents and such, but George made sure that it did happen right before bedtime. All these pics were taken in my playroom (don't judge).
As per usual, the kids were very excited to give their mama their presents and cards. I love how excited they get and I always love, love, love the cards.
Jack got me a purple Nike dri-fit shirt and I love it. Purple is slowly becoming the new pink. Who am I kidding? Pink will always be number one.
I love the shirt and I love this guy so much!
Our family loves Duck Dynasty and I sent George a pic of me holding a Uncle Si shirt at Walmart one day. I reminded him that my birthday was coming up. Well he and Nicholas surprised me.
How cool is my Uncle Si/Duck Dynasty shirt? I know it's ridiculous, but I really do love it!
Ella bought me a pair of workout shorts which looked HUUUUUUUUGE!
I wore them today... they fit just fine. haha She said, "I know you don't normally wear orange, but you do love pink and they have pink, so you should be good." Good I was! They are super comfy. I love them.
George also got me a workout shirt, purple of course. The Lululemon run swifty shirts/tanks are my absolute favorite thing in the world right now! They are lightweight and comfortable and look great. PERFECT. I want one in every color! I'm working on it!
George tried to fool me making me think the Lulu tank was my only gift from him, but soon he brought out the goods! Nothing wrong with a little Tiffany blue in your life.
He got me these sunglasses (which I picked out) and I'm not sure I love them. Looking at these pictures, however, I'm liking them more. I want to LOVE them before I decide to keep them. I can't justify keeping them if I don't absolutely love them. Luckily my husband is used to my returning gifts I pick out. Ha! He'd rather me tell him than to never wear them. Feel free to weigh in. Keep or send them back?
And there you have it. 39 years young! Thank you to everyone for all the wonderful birthday wishes and giving me one of the greatest gifts by being here reading each day!
